FINDING VITALITY IN THE NIAGARA FALLS
A strongly bonded team creates an atmosphere where people want to be. Our Canadian retail client wanted to keep pumping energy to their already well-oiled group. CWT M&E team collaborated with them to design their bi-annual conference into something truly unforgettable and ensure their 700 attendees were energized and motivated to start the year strong.
#NURTURING EXCELLENCE
Our creative team designed a comprehensive communication campaign, including a teaser video in both English and French, to build anticipation while highlighting the natural energy of the destination—Niagara Falls. The video emphasized the event tagline and goals of “Empower, Inspire, Achieve”. With a dual-language audience, all materials were in English and French and on-site translation booths staffed.
We coordinated with numerous suppliers to provide a superior experience, including securing rooms at two connecting resorts, Hilton Niagara Falls and Fallsview Casino Resort, overlooking the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. With the size of the group, Niagara Falls Convention Centre was contracted with its convenient location within walking distance
As Niagara is home to the most established wine producing vineyards in Canada, event highlights included a pre-event dinner at award-winning Peller Estates Winery as well as the Casino transformed into a winery for the Welcome Dinner, complete with tastings, enchanted lights and linens in greens, pinks and reds.
The energy started right from the start with indigenous dancers/drummers welcoming attendees into the opening of the Conference. Choir!Choir!Choir! ended the Welcome Dinner with interactive singing and comedy to build community. The energy was continuous until the Conference closed at the Gala Dinner with popular party band, Alter Ego, covering top hits from the ‘70s to today.
Using the water of the Falls as inspiration, the Gala Dinner was themed “Under the Sea” with tables in the shape/coloring of the sea, a champagne wall, glow-up furniture and helium edible bubbles for dessert. The energy of the party stayed at a high level with two aerialists draped from the ceiling to welcome attendees and continuous music from a DJ before Alter Ego hit the stage.
A large challenge was ensuring such a large number of attendees arrived on time into Niagara Falls, with approximately half flying into Toronto and half driving from their home Canadian cities. We worked seamlessly with our transportation partner to transfer attendees from the Toronto Pearson Airport via motorcoaches and sedans and on-site staff assisted with parking for drivers. Even with an approaching snowstorm hovering in the forecast, attendees arrived with no issues.
CWT M&E was honored to receive an overall attendee satisfaction rating of 95.6%, with many positive comments on their experience. We are already discussing plans for their 2026 Conference with an added district managers meeting in 2025 to bridge the gap.

The event team was professional, knowledgeable and extremely dependable overall both leading up to and during our event(s). Any questions or issues that came up were handled or dealt with in a timely manner, and this allowed us to focus most of our attention on details and execution. Very happy with how everything came together and the overall commitment from the entire team!” Event Stakeholder
