YES, WE CANNES
Launching a new corporate brand for the first time in 30 years calls for celebration—a celebration that brings 2,000 colleagues together to enjoy all that the future holds. What better place to host a party than the home of the ultimate party, Cannes. Energizing entertainment fills attendees with amusement for four exhilarating days in the sun and sand. 
After years of expansion, this French leader in digital services wanted to bring 17 separate companies together into a single entity by planning an event to amaze their 2,000 employees. CWT M&E offered unique experiences while still encompassing a strong sense of belonging.
Four project managers ensured no detail was overlooked, including coordinating seven charter flights, eight production trailers, 18 tour leaders and 36 motorcoaches. With a 10-year client relationship, we uniquely understand their expectations and culture. 
Within 20 days of the event starting, the original location in Morocco had to be relocated to France. As they say, the show must go on… the CWT M&E team presented two new destinations within 48 hours. The next day, we were on our way to Cannes to tour and contract venues.  
Attendees were in awe as they entered the Palais des Festivals, home of the Cannes Film Festival, for the main plenary and gala concert. We worked hand-in-hand with the Cannes Convention Bureau to source and contract accommodations, utilizing 32 hotels.
The brand unveiling was a moment not to forget with a leading French actor as Master of Ceremonies followed by a concert by the Black Eyed Peas. The energy in the room was palpable! A post-event highlight video ensured momentum of the new brand strategy would live on well beyond the event. Employees promoted the brand on social media by using two unique hashtags, including #YesWeCannes. Client representatives were sought-out by professional media and kept the buzz going.
Our client’s expectations were exceeded, receiving two industry awards and a Great Place to Work certification. The tremendous survey results highlighted the pride employees felt to work for such a company. All CO2 transportation tonnes were even calculated for the client to purchase carbon credits, supporting their environmental commitment.
